Getting to know God the Holy Spirit 7

After our quest for 52 weeks of Character study, we will now spend some time in getting to know the creator and maker of them all. Some know God personally and some have just heard about Him; but for however long this study goes, I urge you to seek God with all your heart and soul. John 8:19-20, studying about the Father will always direct you into studying about the Son. Our quest is to find intimacy with the one who created you! In really know Him, you will find out what His plan is for your life. Jeremiah 29:11-14
1. Why did the Holy Spirit come? Give the specific work that the Holy Spirit came to do. Provide scripture.
2. Define the word spirit. How does the bible define the word? Provide scripture, if possible.
3. Read Ezekiel 36:22-29. In your own words, what does this scripture say to you?
4. Define the word blasphemy. How many times is it used in the bible? How can the Holy Spirit be blasphemed?
5. Read Romans 5:1-5. How does this scripture speak to you?
