1. List the two main points of this chapter.



2. Does our sin mean God is unfaithful? Whose unfaithfulness does it show? Will God be faithful even when I sin?


3. What does it mean to be "under sin"? Who is under sin?



4. What does Paul say is purpose of the Law here?



5. What does the phrase that "every mouth may be closed" mean? Who is accountable to God? What are we accountable for?

Getting to know God the Holy Spirit 9

Jeremiah 9:23-24
Isaiah 55:6-7

After our quest for 52 weeks of Character study, we will now spend some time in getting to know the creator and maker of them all.  Some know God personally and some have just heard about Him; but for however long this study goes,  I urge you to seek God with all your heart and soul.  John 8:19-20, studying about the Father will always direct you into studying about the Son.  Our quest is to find intimacy with the one who created you!  In really know Him, you will find out what His plan is for your life.  Jeremiah 29:11-14


1.  Is there a difference in the Holy Spirit and God's Spirit?  Can you find a scripture in the New Testament that mentions the Spirit of God?  Provide scripture.






2.  Is there a difference in the Holy Spirit and the Spirit of Jesus?  Can you find a scripture in the Old Testament that mentions the Spirit of Jesus?  Provide scripture.





3.  Read Romans 9:2.  Explain what you think this scripture is saying.







4.  Read Proverbs 8.  Define wisdom.  What is the difference in wisdom and the Holy Spirit?
