Bible Character Josiah Search

Hebrew 11:13-15; 12:1-3

As we continue our character studies.. The Bible describes those who went before us as a great cloud of witnesses. The book of Hebrew only names a few, but we only actually have 33 weeks of research ahead of us. We will find that everyone that walked by faith did not make it in the final roll call list, just as all of us may not make it. We serve a God that is the same today, yesterday and forever more! Because of that, we should learn from their strength/weakness, serving, worshiping, and walking for God the same today, yesterday and forever more!

Josiah

1. Were there any relatives named or un-named in scripture for Josiah?  Which one of the relative was a positive example for him?

2.  What single incident caused Josiah to reign over Judah differently than past Kings?

3.  Did he have a relationship with God?  Explain.

4.  What were his strengths and accomplishments/weaknesses and mistakes?

5. What life lessons do we get from his life?
