Bible Character Hosea Search

Hebrew 11:13-15; 12:1-3

As we continue our character studies.. The Bible describes those who went before us as a great cloud of witnesses. The book of Hebrew only names a few, but we only actually have 22 weeks of research ahead of us. We will find that everyone that walked by faith did not make it in the final roll call list, just as all of us may not make it. We serve a God that is the same today, yesterday and forever more! Because of that, we should learn from their strength/weakness, serving, worshiping, and walking for God the same today, yesterday and forever more!

Hosea

1.  Gives the names of all relatives listed in scriptures for Hosea.  Provide scriptures and facts to support any and all names found.




2.  How was Hosea's relationship with his wife compared to God's relationship with Isreal?






3.  Did Hosea serve under the reign of any kings during his prophetic period .  Gives names.  Provided information on the king that was affected most by Hosea's message.





4.  What were his strengths and accomplishments/weaknesses and mistakes?




5. What life lessons do we get from his life?




Bonus: what is the differences between the major prophets and the minor prophet?  Is Hosea a major or minor prophet?
