Getting to know God the Father 2

After our quest for 52 weeks of Character study, we will now spend some time in getting to know the creator and maker of them all. Some know God personally and some have just heard about Him; but for however long this study goes, I urge you to seek God with all your heart and soul. Our quest is to find intimacy with the one who created you! In really know Him, you will find out what His plan is for your life. Jeremiah 29:11-14
1. What are the characteristics of God?
2. What does the scripture say about God's love? Was God love different from the Old Testament to the New Testament?
3. What specific gifts did God give to the church? Provide scripture.
4. What does the scripture say about the wrath of God? Was God wrath different from the Old Testament to the New Testament?
5. Is there any comparison between your Heavenly Father and your earthly father? Give details.
