Getting to know God the Son 2

Jeremiah 9:23-24
Isaiah 55:6-7

After our quest for 52 weeks of Character study, we will now spend some time in getting to know the creator and maker of them all.  Some know God personally and some have just heard about Him; but for however long this study goes,  I urge you to seek God with all your heart and soul.  John 8:19-20, studying about the Father will always direct you into studying about the Son.  Our quest is to find intimacy with the one who created you!  In really know Him, you will find out what His plan is for your life.  Jeremiah 29:11-14


1.  What specific gifts did Jesus give to the church?  Provide scripture.






2. Read 1 Peter 2:24.  How did Jesus make this scripture a reality?  Explain what this meant to the New Testament Church and what does it mean to you.  Give details.





3. Read Luke 19:1-10.. Explain what happen to this man and how this compares with the day that you were introduced to Jesus.  Give details.






4.  How do you know that Jesus is the son of God?  Give scriptures.





5.  Read 1 Peter 4:1-7.  How did Jesus make this scripture a reality?  Explain what this means to you.
