Getting to know God the Son 4

After our quest for 52 weeks of Character study, we will now spend some time in getting to know the creator and maker of them all. Some know God personally and some have just heard about Him; but for however long this study goes, I urge you to seek God with all your heart and soul. John 8:19-20, studying about the Father will always direct you into studying about the Son. Our quest is to find intimacy with the one who created you! In really know Him, you will find out what His plan is for your life. Jeremiah 29:11-14
1. Is there a difference in knowing Jesus and knowing about Jesus? Give details.
2. Read Philippians 3:7-11 . What should our greatest quest in life be? What is the most important thing in your life? Please give details.
3. Provide one person in the New Testament who experienced forgiveness of sin by Jesus Christ. Choose a person that you can relate to (think about your life and how you have been forgiven).
4. Read Matthew 16:13-16. Who do you say Jesus is?
5. Read Matthew 19:16-30. Explain what happen to this young man. What type of sacrifice did you make to follow Jesus?
