Bible Character Ezekiel Search 8/14

Bible Character Ezekiel Search

Hebrew 11:13-15; 12:1-3

As we continue our character studies.. The Bible describes those who went before us as a great cloud of witnesses. The book of Hebrew only names a few, but we only actually have 24 weeks of research ahead of us. We will find that everyone that walked by faith did not make it in the final roll call list, just as all of us may not make it. We serve a God that is the same today, yesterday and forever more! Because of that, we should learn from their strength/weakness, serving, worshiping, and walking for God the same today, yesterday and forever more!

Ezekiel

1.  Describe Ezekiel's relationship with God.  Give details on how God called him out for his position to the Nations of Israel and Judah.  What is the difference between what he was trained to do and what God called him to do?

2.  Give the names of the kings that Ezekiel  served under.  Provide information on how effective he was with both the kings and the people?

3.  Ezekiel's prophecies are listed throughout the book of Ezekiel.  Give details of at least 2 of them.  Provide the scripture.

4.  What were his strengths and accomplishments/weaknesses and mistakes?

5. What life lessons do we get from his life?

Bonus:  How was Ezekiel's encounter with God different from how God dealth with Isaiah?  How were these two prophets' messages to the people different?
