Hebrew 11:13-15; 12:1-3

As we continue our character studies.. The Bible describes those who went before us as a great cloud of witnesses. The book of Hebrew only names a few, but we only actually have 25 weeks of research ahead of us. We will find that everyone that walked by faith did not make it in the final roll call list, just as all of us may not make it. We serve a God that is the same today, yesterday and forever more! Because of that, we should learn from their strength/weakness, serving, worshiping, and walking for God the same today, yesterday and forever more!

Jeremiah

1.  Describe Jeremiah's relationship with God.  How did this relationship position Jeremiah for the call to be a prophet?




2.  Give the names of the kings that Jeremiah served under.  How effective was he with each king?  Give details.





3.  How effective was Jeremiah's message to the people?  How was Jeremiah affected by the call to deliver the message?  Give details of one his prophecies that can further explain your answer.




4.  What were his strengths and accomplishments/weaknesses and mistakes?




5. What life lessons do we get from his life?
