Bible Character Simeon and Anna Search
Hebrew 11:13-15; 12:1-3
As we continue our character studies.. The Bible describes those who went before us as a great cloud of witnesses. The book of Hebrew only names a few, but we only actually have 9 weeks of research ahead of us. We will find that everyone that walked by faith did not make it in the final roll call list, just as all of us may not make it. We serve a God that is the same today, yesterday and forever more! Because of that, we should learn from their strength/weakness, serving, worshiping, and walking for God the same today, yesterday and forever more!
Simeon and Anna
1. Who is Simeon and what was his purpose in life? Was it fulfilled before he died?
2. Who is Anna and what was her purpose in life? Was she obedient to the cause?
3. What was the relationship between Simeon and Anna? What did they have in common? What was their relationship with Jesus?
4. What were their strengths and accomplishments/weaknesses and mistakes?
5. What life lessons do we get from their lives? Do you know your purpose in life? Read Jeremiah 29:11-14, what do this mean to you?
